Former “Weeds” star Elizabeth Perkins looks set to join Michael Chiklis in the CBS Comedy “Vince Uncensored”. The multicamera comedy, written by Phoef Sutton and to be directed by Kelsey Grammer, ”centers on Vince (Chiklis), a family man who experiences a medical problem and starts to speak the truth and live in the moment much to the chagrin of his family. Laura Allen (“Terriers”) and Cherry Jones (“24”) have been cast in the new Howard Shore drama “REM”. ”The project, described as an Inception-style thriller, centers on Detective Michael Britten (Jason Isaacs), who wakes up after an accident to find he is living in two different realities, one in which he has killed his son Rex and one in which he has killed his wife Hannah in a car accident”. Julian Fellowes’ (“Gosford Park”) 4-hour “Titanic” mini-series has been greenlit by ABC and will begin filming in Hungary in the spring. Like Cameron’s film version, Fellowes’ series will combine fictional characters with real-life patrons of the doomed ship. (More…)
