New director in Transit

Samuel Bayer has left the building

Director Tony Kaye, best known as the guy that came to blows with New Line and Edward Norton on “American History X” a few years ago, has taken over as director on the new Bruce Willis/Samuel L. Jackson film, “Black Water Transit”.

According to Production Weekly, Kaye has stepped in for Samuel Bayer on the pic, which will still shoot in New Orleans, but has pushed principle photography until early April.

This thing has been a frickin’ game of musical chairs. It’s had numerous stops and starts, could never seem to officially attach an actor (Vin Diesel was attached at one point), and now, can’t even tie a director down. Something is going on….

Anyone got the script?
