Suggesting the film won’t be an origin tale (they’ve been there, done that – twicel!), Matt Shakman’s upcoming Fantastic Four will see Reed and Sue Richards already be parents.
The WandaVision filmmaker’s adaptation of the Marvel comic classic will indeed feature the dynamic duo’s offspring Franklin and Valeria Richards, says Jeff Sneider.

Don’t expect casting notices to go out just yet though, according to at the moment they’re merely looking at the leads – and will be starting by finding their Sue Storm.
Says Justin Kroll :
While the film won’t shoot till top of 24, word around town is the Marvel will begin gearing up casting process of F4 this month. No names rumored for now but the belief is the focus will be casting Sue Storm first and building out the rest of team after she is set. Stay Tuned

It is likely they’ll announce the cast at San Diego Comic-Con in July.
While Kroll says no names are rumoured, as far as his deep throats are concerned, quite a few names have been mentioned in relation to roles. Most recently, actors like Adam Driver (65), Joshua Jackson (“Fringe”), and Dev Patel (“The Newsroom”) were all said to be on Marvel’s wish-list for Reed Richards, while “That ’70s Show” alum Mila Kunis was but one name linked to the Sue Storm role.
Fantastic Four, part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is in theaters November 8, 2024.
