Matt Damon, currently on screen in the smasheroo Oppenheimer, might be returning to Marvel.
The actor previously made appearances in Thor Ragnarok and Thor Love and Thunder and now, according to Giant Freakin Robot, he’s set to make an appearance in the next big release from the studio –Thunderbolts.
While it’s not known whether or not the Bourne Identity star reprises his Thor role in the film (he plays an actor portraying Tom Hiddleston’s Loki in stage productions) or a new character, the outlet seems confident in their scoop.
Thunderbolts, starring Harrison Ford, Hannah John-Kamen, Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Harrison Ford, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Olga Kurylenko, is currently scheduled for release December 20, 2024 – with the film put on indefinite hold due to the strike though, expect that to change.
