Worthington, LaPaglia fly with Paper Planes… in 3D!

Aussies Sam Worthington (“Avatar”), Anthony LaPaglia (“Lantana”), and Ed Oxenbould (“Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”) are locked up for the 3D family pic “Paper Planes”, according to Deadline.

Inspired by true events, the movie follows “11-year-old Dylan (Oxenbould), who lives with his father (Worthington) in the Australian countryside. His life is changed forever when he wins his way up to the World Paper Plane Championship in Japan.”

Filming in Perth and Tokyo, the film is directed by Robert Connolly (“Underground : The Julian Assange Story”), who co-wrote the script with author Steve Worland.

Actor Eric Bana is one of the producers on the project.
