Form and Fuller talk Friday the 13th reboot

Out doing press for the new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie this weekend, producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form tell Collider what’s next on their dance card. While a “Friday the 13th” reboot is definitely in the pipeline, the duo confirm that the proposed remake of ’80s favourite “The Monster Squad” is kaput.

But, we are working on Friday the 13th for November 13th of next year. We love Friday the 13th. We had the best time making that movie. An opportunity to bring Jason back again, for us, we jump at it. We just have to tell the right story. It’s truly about, what is this version? We’re working hard on that. We have a great director, David Bruckner (V/H/S, The Signal), and we’re trying to figure it out. We have to crack that.

The duo also confirmed plans for a third in the “Purge” series.

Feig to direct all-female Ghostbusters reboot!?
