Despite rumours suggesting he was playing a couple of characters in “Star Wars : The Force Awakens”, Andy Serkis says he’s only playing one.
“No that’s not true at all. I can say I only play one character”, Serkis said in response to a question from EW about playing both a live-action character and computer-generated character in the Christmas 2015 release.
As for whether that character is a live-action or CGI character, the “Lord of the Rings” star says he can’t say a “single thing about that. I’m sorry. These things will all come out in the fullness of time, I promise.”
He does say “the character …ye’s been through some stuff.”
The actor also said his voice was unaltered for the trailer, and that that’s indeed the voice of the character he plays in the film.
