In talks with Robert Rodriguez for sequel
Angelina Jolie, still hotter than a bowl of freshly-microwaved frijoles, tells ComingSoon.net that she has spoken to Robert Rodriguez about playing that ‘Dame to Kill For’, Ava, in “Sin City 2”.
According to Jolie, the sequel has been pushed back a bit, but from the sounds of it, when it does get up, she’ll be reporting for duty.
“We talked about it and I read the comic,” Jolie told the site. “I don’t think the film is being made at this moment. When it’s actually going to be made I’m sure we’ll talk about it.
“It was a funny thing, because the idea came to me when I was pregnant,” she added. “So it was this idea… I’ve been Clover (in ‘The Good Shepherd’), depressed and quiet, and then I was feeling very maternal, pregnant. It was this idea of this sexy, violent and loud [character]… I thought maybe after I’m pregnant it would be nice to do.”
The movie would re-team Jolie with her “Beyond Borders” co-star Clive Owen, who would again play her on-again off-again love interest.
