Berlin : Expendables 3 for Summer; Rambo V to follow

A couple of updates from Berlin,

While the bulk of Nu-Image/Millennium’s efforts at the EFM in Berlin center on ready-to-go fare like Renny Harlin’s “Hercules 3D” (here’s the sales poster) and Brad Anderson’s “Eliza Graves”, there’s a couple of Stallone sequels they’re also beseeching sales on.

Firstly, and much to my surprise (I wasn’t sure Sly had officially committed to doing this, yet!?), NU/Millennium have “Rambo V” posters plastered around the Martim Hotel .

The artwork is essentially a slightly modified version of the “Rambo V” poster the shingle have taken to overseas markets before (yes, they’ve tried to get it going before). Stallone goes hot and cold on the idea of doing another “Rambo”, but I guess this month he’s interested…

Sean Hood was said to be on script duties for “Rambo V” a year or so back.

Whatever, the new “Rambo” won’t happen before Sly gets back with his ‘Expendables’ buddies though; Millennium announced in Berlin that “The Expendables 3” – which will assumingly reunite Stallone with co-stars Dolph Lundgren, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis etc – is gearing up to shoot this Summer. Guessing Sly’s already got his draft in. With “The Expendables 2” making over $300 million worldwide, this is a no-brainer.

Nu-Image/Millennium are screening their Linda Lovelace biopic “Lovelace” starring Amanda Seyfried at the market.

About that John Noble Star Wars Episode VII rumour…
