80s icons in new crime thriller
80s superstars Michael Biehn (who many assumed would be on the verge of a comeback after “Grindhouse”, and that still may be the case) and Tom Berenger (who recently made a comeback in the TV series “October Road”) will team for “Stilleto”, a new crime thriller from producer-director Nick Vallelonga.
The feature, which recently began principal photography, stars Stana Katic (NBC’s “Heroes”) as an assassin whose seemingly random killings puzzle her lover, her clients and the detective following her rising body count. Berenger plays her boyfriend, whose rise in organized crime is offset by his love for her and his Mafia cohort (Biehn).
Dominique Swain, Kelly Hu, Diane Venora, William Forsythe, Amanda Brooks and Tom Sizemore also star.
