Breaking Bits : Jumanji 3, Streep’s Little Lies, Murphy Brown is back & more!

After the staggering amount of money the first has made, no surprise to hear Sony are bankrolling another “Jumanji”. As if HBO’s “Big Little Lies” couldn’t get any better, Meryl Streep has signed for a role in season two.

A sequel to Michael Jai White starrer “Black Dynamite” could be in the works, if this tweet from the actor is anything to go on.

Actress Candice Bergen and Creator Diane English are reuniting on a revival of CBS classic “Murphy Brown”. The first of thirteen new episodes will air during the 2018-19 season, it was reported today. English will reprise her role as writer and executive producer through her Bend in the Road Productions shingle. Many of the shows other original cast members are expected to reprise their roles.

Warner Animation Group are teaming with Dr. Seuss Enterprises, L.P. to produce multiple feature films based on the iconic characters and stories created by Dr. Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel). First cab off the rank if a new fully animated version of “The Cat in the Hat”.

The upcoming “Spider-Man : Homecoming” sequel is looking to fill a ‘femme fatale’ role. The actress should be European and in her twenties.  Black Cat? Silver Sable? maybe Spider-Woman?

Oscar nominated actor John Malkovich will have a guest starring arc in season three of the hit Showtime drama “Billions”, playing Russian billionaire Grigor Andolov. The third season will premiere on Sunday, March 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
Taylor Sheridan says Denis Villeneuve could return for the second sequel to “Sicario” – should there be one. “He [Villeneuve] wishes he had been available [for Sicario 2]. We even talked about him maybe coming back for the third one, should there be one. He said, ‘If I were available, I’d be directing this movie tomorrow.’ But we always knew he was going to be in the middle of Blade Runner when the script started to come together.”
