Brie Larson (“Captain Marvel”) is reteaming with her “Short Term 12” director Destin Cretton for “Just Mercy”, says Variety.
The Oscar winner joins Michael B.Jordan and Jamie Foxx in the adaptation of the book “Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption”. The film tells the true story of Bryan Stevenson (Jordan), a gifted young lawyer fighting for equal justice in a flawed legal system.
Cretton co-wrote the script with Andrew Lanham. Production begins in Atlanta next month.
