Chris Pine has signed on to play Steve Trevor opposite star Gal Gadot in “Wonder Woman”.
For those that aren’t aware, Steve Trevor is Wonder Woman’s love interest in the comics, though The Wrap reports “Trevor will be no mere love interest for Gadot’s Diana Prince, as there will be plenty of action to keep him busy”.
Patty Jenkins is directing from Jason Fuchs’ script. Producers are Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Charles Roven and Richard Suckle.
Gadot’s Wonder Woman will first appear in next year’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” before the “Wonder Woman” flick opens on June 23, 2017.
