Nathan Fillion is reuniting with old bud James Gunn for the “Guardians of the Galaxy” sequel.
The “Firefly” alum (who fanboys have been hankering to see in a superhero flick for years now) will be playing Marvel comics character Simon Williams – the comic-book villain who would later join The Avengers, before ditching the heroics for an acting career – in Gunn’s “Guardians of the Galaxy : Vol 2”.
Sadly, fake movie posters from the set of the film reveal that Fillion’s role is on the short and silly side of things. No word if the guy even appears in the flesh in the movie.
