Gosling keen on “Star Trek” prequel role
Scuttlebutt around the Paramount lot this morning is that rising star, PR-noxious Ryan Gosling (“The Notebook”, “Half-Nelson”) wants to be beamed up (I tell ya, until a couple of weeks ago, he had Rachel McAdams doing…. Er, maybe I’ll leave it there) for the new “Star Trek” film.
Associated Content and IESB have discovered that Gosling – who at one time was also sharing a hot water bottle with Sandra Bullock – is keen to play the role of Captain Kirk in the upcoming prequel.
Since Gosling’s one of the most in-demand actors of the moment, not to mention an Oscar Nominee, we don’t think this request will be brushed off either.
Matt Damon has been the favourite to wear the Starfleet uniform thus far.
