Ethan Hawke, Maya Rudolph, Bill Hader and Travis Fimmel have been cast in Rebecca Miller’s “Maggie’s Plan”.
The four newcomers join Greta Gerwig and Julianne Moore in the film which is based on a story by Karen Rinaldi.
“Maggie’s Plan” is said to be a screwball take on the fluctuations of modern love that “puts a new spin on the romantic comedy.”
Protagonist will launch sales at the European Film Market in Berlin and filming will begin on February 23 in New York.
Producers are Miller, Rachael Horovitz and Damon Cardasis with exec producers Phil Stephenson, Temple Williams, Lucy Barzun Donnelly, Alexandra Kerry, Michael Mailis and Susan Wrubel.
