A while back the web got wind that HBO and David Milch had expressed interest in reuniting the town of “Deadwood” for either a telemovie or big screen pic.
While little’s been said about the film since – besides that it’ll reportedly be set ten years after the events of the series- HBO’s Casey Bloys mentioned at the TCA’s on Saturday that it’s still very much a go project… but it’s early days.
“David is writing the script. We haven’t read it yet,” Bloys said. “I imagine it will be very good.”
Bloys said he “feels very good about it” but there’s no greenlight yet for the pic.
