The cast of ITV’s 12-part “Beowulf” series is coming together, with William Hurt (“Lost in Space”, “Damages”), Joanne Whalley (“Scandal”), and Kieran Bew (“Da Vinci’s Demons”) leading the cast.
Ed Speleers (“Downton Abbey”), David Ajala (“Black Box”), Ian Puleston-Davies (“Coronation Street”) and Ellora Torchia (“Indian Summers”) are also onboad.
James Dormer, Tim Haines, and Katie Newman created the series, which stars Bew as the title character -originating from the Danish poem.
