Earlier this week we heard that Darth Vader might be one of the central characters in Gareth Edwards’ “Star Wars : The Force Awakens” – which totally makes sense considering the film is set before the events of “A New Hope”, and has been rumoured to fix on a group of resistance fighters out to steal the plans to Vader’s Death Star.
Now, Bloody Disgusting has new info to share on the storyline. The site reports that they’ve heard Ben Mendelsohn’s character in the film is a Moff. The unnamed Moff will hire a group of bounty hunters – Boba Fett, Bossk, Dengar, Zuckuss, 4LOM, IG-88, and Cad Bane – to snag the plans to the Death Star BACK from the good guys. Mendelsohn’s Moff is the film’s chief adversary.
“Star Wars Anthology : Rogue One” is set for release December 16, 2016.
