Jackman joins the cast of Blomkamp’s Chappie

Hugh Jackman has joined Neil Blomkamp’s latest, “Chappie”, according to Deadline.

The “Elysium” director’s next tells of an android cop (Blomkamp regular Sharlto Copley) who is kidnapped by gangsters (Yo-Landi Visser and Ninja).

Jackman plays Dev Patel’s rival in the movie.

The Australian actor is currently winning raves for his role in “Prisoners”.
