Janney heads back to school for Bad Education

“I, Tonya” scene-stealer Alison Janney looks to join Australia’s Hugh Jackman in high school drama “Bad Education” for director Cory Finley.

Based on screenwriter Mike Makowsky’s own high school experience, the Automatik production follows a superintendent of the school district who works for the betterment of the student’s education while embezzling public funds to live the life he wants.

“Greatest Showman” star Jackman plays the superintendent, while the former “West Wing” actress plays the school district business manager who is in on the scheme and enjoying the same living large lifestyle while helping him (and her) to cover their tracks.
