Yesterday we brought you the news that Malin Akerman’s deal with Dwayne Johnson’s upcoming film “Rampage” has been closed, and now there’s another cast member joining the crew.
The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan is confirmed to be a part of the movie, joining previously announced cast Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman, Joe Manganiello, Jake Lacy, Marley Shelton, PJ Byrne, Jack Quaid, Matt Gerald and Breanne Hill (via Deadline).
The flick is based on the 80’s arcade game of the same name, and sees giant monsters terrorising North America. Johnson is the man of power, trying to save the world from the grips of the creatures, while Morgan is set to play Agent Russell, who works for a government division called OGA. Just like every other role he’s in, Morgan is also playing a silver fox. But that’s just my opinion.
Coming to cinemas April 2018, with hopefully more details to come in the near future.
