Dermot Mulroney, the rom-com staple who has slowly but surely managed to untie himself from the ‘perfect suitor’ roles, has snagged the lead role in Blumhouse’s “Insidious : Chapter 3”.
Mulroney, seen recently in the ensemble dramedy “August : Osange County” and best known for his roles in “My Best Friend’s Wedding” and “Young Guns”, will fill the leading man spot vacated by “Insidious” 1 & 2 alum Patrick Wilson.
Stefanie Scott, of the upcoming “Jem & The Holograms”, is also set for the flick.
Leigh Whannell directs the latest instalment, due in theaters April 3, 2015.
