Pitch Perfect 3 moved up to July 2017

Universal has brought “Pitch Perfect 3” forward to release on July 21, 2017, moved from an original release date of August 4, 2017.

Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson are on board to return for the threequel, with Elizabeth Banks returning to helm and Kay Cannon set to write the script.

Plot details remain under wraps.

“Pitch Perfect 3” will now open against Christopher Nolan’s World War II film “Dunkirk”, Luc Besson’s sci-fier “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” and Fox’s animated movie “The Story of Ferdinand”.
