Vin Diesel has taken to Instagram to announce a new “Riddick” sequel and a spin-off television series.
Diesel also revealed that “DT”, aka David Twohy who wrote and directed all three previous “Riddick” films, is working on the script to the next film, which will apparently be titled “Furia”.
On the TV side of things, Diesel wrote “Merc City is a show that will follow the mercs and bounty hunters of the Riddick Universe”.
The franchise kicked off in 2000 with “Pitch Black”, followed by 2004’s “The Chronicles of Riddick”, and most recently 2013’s “Riddick”.
