It would be a far cry from the action-centric roles she’s taking on at the moment (check out our interview with Rose on the set of her latest actioner “Meg” here) but, according to Variety, “Orange is the New Black” star Ruby Rose is in talks to join “Pitch Perfect 3”.
Trish Sie is directing the film which will see franchise stars Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and Brittany Snow return for the threequel. Elizabeth Banks, who also appeared in the first two films and directed last year’s sequel, will reprise her role and return to produce along with Max Handelman of Brownstone Productions, and Paul Brooks of Gold Circle Entertainment.
Kay Cannon penned the script with drafts by Mike White and Dana Fox, however plot details remain unknown. So too are details on Rose’s role, so stay tuned for more info.
“Pitch Perfect 3” has been slated to open on December 22, 2017.
