Jonathan Aris (“Sherlock”, “The World’s End”) has joined the cast of “Star Wars Anthology : Rogue One”.
The casting titbit was uncovered by the BBC, who noticed Aris had the project listed on his Spotlight page. The online CV says Aris is playing a character named Senator Jebel.
“Rogue One”, directed by Gareth Edwards and set to start filming in the coming days, sees a group of rebel spies stealing the plans to The Death Star. Iconic series villain Darth Vader is said to be in the film. Ben Mendelsohn, Felicity Jones, Riz Ahmed and Diego Luna star.
“Rogue One” is released December 2016.
