“The Raid 2” and “Fast & Furious 6” actor Joe Taslim has joined the cast of Paramount’s “Star Trek Beyond”.
The Indonesian actor and martial artist looks to be playing a villain – alongside main baddie Idris Elba – in the Justin Lin directed film.
Currently in production in Vancouver, the film stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Karl Urban and John Cho.
Sofia Boutella is also onboard.
“Star Trek Beyond” is due July 8, 2016.
