Sarandon, in a role not unlike that of the one she played in 1998’s “Stepmom”, replaces Diane Keaton in the role of the mother. Kate Winslet and Mia Wasikowska are set for the roles of the daughters.

Bex Taylor-Klaus (”Arrow”), Lindsay Duncan (”Birdman”), and newcomer Anson Boon have also joined the cast in supporting roles.

The film, written by Christian Thorpe, who also penned the original, is set up at Millennium Films.
