Following its premiere at Cannes this past weekend, a teaser has been released for “Foxcatcher”, starring Steve Carell, Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo.
The film sees Carell play John du Pont, an heir to the DuPont Chemical fortune and a mentally ill wrestling fanatic who was eventually convicted for murder. The star is almost unrecognisable under a mass of makeup and a prosthetic nose, however critics at Cannes have raved about his performance.
Tatum and Ruffalo star beside Carell as Olympic wrestling champions who du Pont choses to coach.
Sienna Miller and Anthony Michael Hall also star in the Bennett Miller directed pic. He worked from a script by E. Max Frye and Dan Futterman.
“Foxcatcher” will bow on November 14 but for now you can view the teaser below.
