More changes to the upcoming release calendar today with Universal pushing “The Mummy” back from an original release date of March 24, 2017, to June 9, 2017.
The new slot will see the film open against Brad Pitt’s “World War Z 2” and the final installment in “The Divergent Series”, “The Divergent Series: Ascendant”.
Tom Cruise and Sofia Boutella star in the reboot of the classic monster franchise which will be directed by Alex Kurtzman.
