The trailer for “Homefront”, a Sylvester Stallone-written movie starring Jason Statham (Sly apparently considered starring in the film himself but later encouraged his “Expendables” co-star to do it instead), has been released.
An action movie about a widowed ex-DEA agent who retires to a small town for the sake of his 10-year-old daughter, “but he’s picked the wrong town”, the movie also features a rather superb support cast including James Franco, Winona Ryder, Kate Bosworth and Frank Grillo.
Stallone produces, with Gary Fleder (“Kiss the Girls”) directing.
“Homefront” is released November 27, 2013.
