The reboot of classic alien sci-fi “Roswell” premieres its first season on The CW in 2019, titled “Roswell, New Mexico”.
The show has unveiled its first look in the trailer shown at Comic-Con, pleasing old fans and new viewers alike.
The reboot will visit Max and Liz in their adulthood, when they reunite years after growing up together when she returns to her hometown to visit her parents, who are undocumented Mexican immigrants.
As one would expect, drama ensues. The pair spark up a romance, and Max is revealed to be an alien-human hybrid who’s kept his extraterrestrial abilities under wraps his whole life for fear of social isolation, scientific scrutiny, or worse.
