“Heroes”, “Seventh Heaven”, “Xena” & “Thief” stars’ onboard sequel
According to Variety, another “Heroes” cast member – they all seem to be snapping up movie roles – has snagged a plum feature gig.
Danielle Savre, who played cheerleader Jackie on the show, will have the lead role in “Boogeyman 2”.
She’ll play Laura, a young woman with a more defined fear; that of the boogeyman himself. She voluntarily checks herself into a mental health facility with the hope of conquering her overwhelming fears. You can guess how that turns out.
Savre was also up for a lead role on TVs “The Sarah Connor Chronicles”, but missed out at the last minute. Ironically, her “Heroes” co-star Thomas Dekker did win a role in the series – a lead role, that of John Connor.
We’ve also heard that Renee O’Connor, best known for her role on TVs “Xena : Warrior Princess”, has also been courted to play a role in the film, as has David Gallagher (“Seventh Heaven”) and Mae Whitman (“Thief”).
“Boogeyman 2” starts filming later this month at Sony’s Culver City Studios.
