Production on “War for the Planet of the Apes” has kicked off, director Matt Reeves revealed via Twitter.
So far we know Andy Serkis is returning to reprise his role as Caesar, Steve Zahn is attached to play a new ape, and Gabriel Chavarria and Woody Harrelson are on board to play humans.
Reeves is directing from the script he co-wrote with Mark Bomback.
“War for the Planet of the Apes” will release on July 14, 2017.
