Will Smith interested in Bad Boys 3

Michael Bay confirms early talks

Thanks to Sylvester Stallone, all the classic action stars are itching to bring back their iconic big-screen heroes – be it Rambo or John McClane- with Will Smith now wanting a bite of that cake, too.

The “Pursuit of Happyness” star, obviously eyeing a break from the dramatic stuff for a while, has contacted director Michael Bay about possibly bringing back the “Bad Boys”.

“Will Smith’s people called [Jerry Bruckheimer”, Bay tells MTV, adding that he’d be open to directing a “Bad Boys III”. “Yeah, they’re great fun.”

Word is that as soon as “Bad Boys II” wrapped, stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence got on the phone to Sony’s Amy Pascal and asked her to let them make another one in a coupla years time.

That time has come…

…. Now just make sure it’s better than the piss-weak “Bad Boys II”, Ok?
