Channing Tatum stars in Columbia Pictures' "22 Jump Street," also starring Jonah Hill.

21 Jump Street team board Universal Monster Movie

“21 Jump Street” trio Channing Tatum, Phil Lord and Chris Miller will reunite on a new Universal monster movie for the studio.

Based one of the studio’s classic monster characters, the film will feature Tatum in a tongue-in-cheek thriller set in the modern day and featuring whatever iconic fiend its based on – which the studio declined the name.

No director is set for the film yet.

Reid Carolin, who produces with Tatum, came up with the idea and wrote a treatment which Wes Tooke (“Midway”) then fleshed out into a screenplay.
