A Quiet Place Part III set for 2022 release; Krasinski not directing

Paramount has tapped “Midnight Special” and “Mud” helmer Jeff Nichols to write and direct a third film in the “Quiet Place” series.

The film, a continuation of a horror series conceived by John Krasinski, will be released in 2022. “A Quiet Place Part II”, written and directed by Krasinski, was originally supposed to open earlier this year but will now open April 23, 2021.

According to Deadline, the plot for the new film is being kept under wraps.
