Sony may team up with “The Social Network” scribe Aaron Sorkin to bring Michael Lewis’ real-life financial drama “Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt” to the silver screen.
Sony Pictures are reportedly in early talks with the Oscar winning screenwriter to adapt the book for the screen.
“Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt” voices Lewis’ allegations of high-frequency traders who are rigging the system by front running orders ahead of other traders.
Scott Ruden and Eli Bush will produce.
Lewis also wrote “Moneyball” which Sony turned into a film starring Brad Pitt. Sorkin penned the script for the movie receiving an Oscar nomination for the screenplay.
