It’s time to go home again… ball!
Comedy classic “Happy Gilmore”, which recently celebrated it’s 25th anniversary in grand social media style, might spawn a sequel.
Star and producer Adam Sandler reunited with his former co-star Christopher McDonald to talk about the film in a new interview.
Appearing on The Golf Channel’s The Dan Patrick Show, Sandler and McDonald (“The Faculty”, “Thelma & Louise”) were asked whether there’s any talk of a sequel.
Apparently a sequel hasn’t been discussed but both actors are up for it. Sandler suggested it could see their characters on the senior golf tour.
“The senior tour with us two? Oh my god,” he said.
Sandler has a deal with Netflix but doesn’t mean he can’t buddy up with Universal again.
