Sony Picture’s Adam Sandler flick “Pixels” will hit our screens on May 15, 2015.
Starring alongside Sandler is Kevin James, Michelle Monaghan, Josh Gad and Peter Dinklage.
The sci-fi adventure is being directed by Chris Columbus from a Tim Herlihy and Timothy Dowling script. Production will get underway next month.
Based on a short directed by Patrick Jean and produced by One More Production, the film sees aliens attack Earth after mistaking video-feeds of classic arcade games as Earth’s declaration of war against them.
“Pixels’” May 15 release date will see it up against Universal’s “Pitch Perfect 2” and Warner Bros.’ “Mad Max: Fury Road”.
