Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal will reunite for a feature film based on scientist Suzanne Simard’s memoir “Finding the Mother Tree.”
The production companies owned by the actors, Bond Group Entertainment and Nine Stories scored the the book, published today via Knopf. Adams, next in Netflix’s “The Woman in the Window”, will star.
According to Variety, the book recounts Simard’s groundbreaking and once-ridiculed research into how trees communicate underground through an immense web of fungi.
