Alicia Vikander has been confirmed to star opposite Matt Damon in the next “Bourne” installment, Deadline reports. She will not, however, appear in Justin Kurzel’s upcoming “Assassins Creed” film.
According to the outlet, Vikander couldn’t arrange her schedule to accommodate both projects
There has also been talk that the actress would join Tom Hanks in the cast of James Ponsoldt’s “The Circle”, however it is reported that she has also bowed out of that project.
Nonetheless, the new “Bourne” film will be directed by Paul Greengrass from a script by Christopher Rouse. Frank Marshall, Jeffrey Weiner, Greengrass, Damon, Greg Goodman and Ben Smith produce. Exec producers are Rouse and Henry Morrison.
