Following ABC’s sudden axing of his sitcom, “Last Man Standing” star Tim Allen has taken to Twitter to air his apparently disgust with the network he “called home for the last six years”.
Suggesting he wasn’t given up a heads up that this wasn’t even a possibility, Allen wrote “Stunned and blindsided by the network I called home for the last six years.”
The network decided not to renew the Friday night offering despite good ratings this season so the cancellation does seem to have less to do with ratings than it does politics.
Despite their best efforts, producers of the sitcom have been unable to find a home for it elsewhere. Again, could it be down to political reasons?
