I think it’s safe to officially dub 2015 ‘the year of Amy Schumer’.
The comedian has added a huge book deal to her list of achievements this year, which for the record include her hit Comedy Central show “Inside Amy Schumer” (for which she just won an Emmy), her film “Trainwreck” which she wrote and starred in (and which raked in over $137 million at the box office) and the recently announced script for a new film she’s working on with Jennifer Lawrence.
Now EW is reporting Schumer has landed a book deal with Gallery Books which is worth somewhere between $8 and $10 million.
The book’s working title is “The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo” and is said to explore Schumer’s childhood, featuring personal and observational stories that range from raunchy to romantic, heartfelt to harrowing.
The book will be released late next year.
