Andre The Giant movie in the works

Producers Scott Steindorff and Dylan Russell, along with Lion Forge Comics, are developing a feature film based on the life of iconic pro wrestler Andre “The Giant” Roussimoff.

The film will look at the life of the wrestler who suffered from the painful health condition of Gigantism, standing at 7-feet-4, weighing over 500 pounds.

In addition to his wrestling career, Roussimoff also starred in Rob Reiner’s 1987 fantasy comedy “The Princess Bride”.

The film will be based on the authorized graphic novel biography “Andre the Giant: Closer to Heaven”, written by Brandon Easton and illustrated by Denis Medri.
