Daniel Craig returning as James Bond was the worst kept secret in Hollywood, so now the interest has turned to who will direct the next 007 film?
Recently, Christopher Nolan took himself off the list of potentials, but now Variety have come out with a report that Danny Boyle (“Slumdog Millionaire”) is at the top of the list for the job – though no offer has yet been made.
The 25th instalment, still officially nameless, is set for release in November 2019, so one would expect a helmer should be announced soon for the flick. Boyle has also apparently always been keen to direct a Bond film, and to that I say: haven’t we all?!
