Apple Studios has snagged the highly coveted new Jon Watts project, teaming George Clooney and Brad Pitt as fixers.
According to Deadline, the film will get a robust theatrical release as part of the deal.

A hot new film package consisting of actors Brad Pitt and George Clooney and filmmaker Jon Watts (“Spider-Man : Homecoming”) is the talk of the trades today.
The top-secret project, said to be a thriller about fixers assigned to do the same job, has Sony, Lionsgate, Apple and Netflix battling for distribution rights.
Amazon, Annapurna, Universal, MGM, and Warner Bros. are also said to be in the mix says THR, who had the scoop.
Watts will write, direct and produce the film with the “Ocean’s Eleven” co-stars in the lead roles.
