Bad Boys 3, Pitch Perfect 4 updates

A third “Bad Boys” and a fourth “Pitch Perfect” are ostensibly on their way to the local red-curtain spruiker.

The long-gestating “Bad Boys For Life” is officially inching before the cameras, with stars Martin Lawrence and Will Smith finally getting together to prep for the Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah directed sequel. Written by Chris Bremner, the Sony-offering has encountered a few hiccups along the way – predominantly, losing its writer and director, Joe Carnahan, on the project over “creative differences”. The film hits theaters January 2020. At last report, Smith was waiting for Martin Lawrence to officially lock himself in. Looks like he has…

Not long after that, we’ll likely see a “Pitch Perfect 4”.

A few days back several cast members got together and posed for a photo in which they were all holding up four fingers. Rebel Wilson was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for Halloween and was asked by the host whether or not the pic was a hint that the fourth film is coming.

“Uhhhh, I can’t say anything officially,” Wilson admitted. “We just love each other, all us girls. Definitely I’ll be filming another musical film in the next 12 months, I can say that. You’ll see me singing a bit more.”

Anna Kendrick, the headline act of the “Pitch Perfect” movies, had said previously that “Pitch Perfect 3” wouldn’t be the final sequel so it’s very likely Wilson is indeed referring to a new film in the series when she says “musical film”.
