Bad luck fellas, Mila Kunis only likes to ride Broomsticks

That other lass in “Black Swan”, Mila Kunis, looks set to follow James Franco down the yellow brick road.

According to Vulture, Macaulay Culkin’s ex is joining the “127 Hours” actor for Sam Raimi’s long-gestating “Oz The Great and Powerful”, a “Wizard of Oz” prequel that charts how the eccentric magic man ended up in Munchkin-land.

“Oz”, which both Johnny Depp (who passed) and Robert Downey Jr (who was attached for a short while) had flirted with before Franco came aboard, tells of how a young illusionist (Franco) with a grandiose attitude is forced to flee a traveling circus. His hot air balloon is swept up by a tornado to the land of Oz, which is run by two magical wicked witches.

Kunis will play Theodorah, who becomes the Wicked Witch of the West. The other Witch hasn’t been cast but I imagine, what with Raimi directing, that Bruce Campbell will be offered the part. He’d make a divine Glinda, aka the Good Witch of the North, no?

In all seriousness, great casting… and sounds like the movie’s going to be a treat. As a Raimi fan though, I await any near flick the man does.
